Vintage Aynsley Hathaway Cake Plate
Fabulous vintage Aynsley Hathaway cake plate from 1980's. This fine bone china plate is edged with gold trim, which while faded with love, increases the softness and loveliness of the design. There is plenty more life in this cake plate!
Aynsley China is a renowned British pottery company founded in 1775. They are known for producing high-quality bone china with intricate designs. The Hathaway pattern features delicate pink rose motifs with green leaves scattered across the surface of the plate. The border has a raised floral pattern, adding to its elegance and charm.
The Hathaway pattern was produced by Aynsley in the mid-20th century. The exact production dates for this pattern are not readily available, but it is likely from the 1950s to 1970s.
