Fabulous vintage Bendigo Pottery and Epsom carafe. This handmade stoneware vintage carafe has its original cork and is glazed with rustic deep earthy colours.
Bendigo Pottery is renowned for its high-quality craftsmanship and distinctive glazes. The Epsom range, in particular, is known for its unique designs and historical significance. It features a dark, speckled glaze with a textured finish. The carafe has a narrow neck and a wider base, with a cork stopper at the top. The speckled effect is achieved through a glazing technique that gives it a unique and artistic appearance.
Bendigo Pottery has been producing ceramics since the 1850s. The Epsom range experienced a revival in the 1970s, led by Bill Derham and this carafe is likely from that period.
