Set of three delightful vintage bowls by The Old Jar Pottery from Benoni South Africa.
These bowls are hand-thrown and decorated, showcasing the skill and artistry of the potters at The Old Jar Pottery.
The bowls have a white base colour with intricate brown and beige decorative patterns. The smaller bowls on the left and right feature a diamond-like pattern around the exterior, while the larger bowl in the center has a more intricate zigzag pattern with a combination of brown, beige, and black colours and a beautiful multi-coloured pattern on the inside.
The Old Jar Pottery was a South African studio art pottery located in Benoni. It was known for its unique and characteristic decoration of hand-thrown pieces, often using turquoise, white, black, mocha, tan, and sky blue colours. The studio operated from 1953 until it closed in 1984
