Vintage Japanese Chokin Trinket Dish
This vintage Japanese chokin trinket dish, is high gloss brown/black and gold, and had a beautiful floral chokin lid. Traditional Japanese chokin means engraving instricate designs on metal plates with gold, silver and copper. From the addition of the chokin information on the base, it was likely made from the mid 20th century or later to help educate consumers about the tradtiional Japanese art form and its significance.
Excellent condition.
