Tiny tales of the objects we find, love, and bring back to life.

Who I Am

I’m a Lenox Serenade vase made of fine American porcelain with a soft ivory glaze, trimmed in gold and adorned with a robin among blossoms. I was made to bring grace to quiet corners, to hold blooms or simply stand as one myself.

Where I was Found

I was discovered in an estate sale, standing among mismatched glassware and forgotten ornaments. My robin’s song had faded beneath the dust, my gold rim dulled by time. Then, a gentle glance caught my painted branch and I was lifted, seen anew.

What I Remember

I remember the gentle rhythm of mid‑century American homes, where sunlight filtered through lace curtains and settled softly on polished wood. I stood on mantels and sideboards, often filled with lilacs or roses gathered from a garden just beyond the kitchen door. I witnessed Sunday lunches, quiet evenings, and the small rituals that made a house feel loved. I remember being part of a time when beauty was cherished in everyday ways, when a single vase could brighten a room and hold the heart of a family’s routine.

How I Was Made

I was crafted by Lenox during the mid‑century years, when American porcelain was celebrated for its purity, elegance, and quiet luxury. My ivory body was shaped with precision, my glaze fired to a soft, warm tone, and my robin painted with delicate care, a reflection of the era’s love for nature and renewal. My gold trim was added as a final touch of refinement, a hallmark of Lenox’s craftsmanship at a time when households valued pieces that were both beautiful and enduring

Where I Belong Now

I belong in a home that values calm and continuity, a place where vintage pieces are loved not for perfection, but for presence. I’m ready to stand among flowers again, to bring a touch of serenity to your space.

What I Want You to Know

I was made to hold beauty, but also memory. I carry the warmth of hands that once arranged blooms within me, and the promise of new ones yet to come. If you choose me, I’ll bring a quiet grace to your home and remind you that gentleness never goes out of style.
